Our Story

Karen and Kate owners of Branching out support

At Branching Out Support, we’re committed to bridging the gap in disability and aged care services, particularly in regional areas like Somerset and the South Burnett. Founded by Karen McCormack, a dedicated registered nurse, and supported by her daughter, an experienced NDIS youth worker and carer, our family-run company strives to provide high-quality, personalised support that helps individuals achieve greater independence and a higher quality of life.

With a deep background in the care industry, Karen and her daughter saw firsthand the challenges families in regional areas face when seeking accessible support services. This motivated them to create Branching Out Support, with the goal of offering comprehensive care that prioritises both the participants and their families.

Our services are built on collaboration, ensuring that support plans are tailored to each participant’s goals and needs. We take pride in hiring local staff who are passionate about providing safe, respectful, and enriching care. All service agreements are regularly reviewed to maximise their benefit and ensure ongoing improvement.

At Branching Out Support, we focus on community-driven support, creating lasting relationships between participants, caregivers, and their families. By investing in local talent, we ensure that everyone involved in a participant’s care is committed to positive, meaningful outcomes.

If you’re ready to experience personalised care with a family-focused approach, we invite you to reach out and learn how we can assist you on your journey toward independence and fulfilment.
